Stedelijk Chair Colour
The Stedelijk Chair is the first chair by New Zealand-born Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis. Originally created in raw aluminum for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, it now comes in a selected palette of black brown, white, beige, and vermillion. With smooth lines, bold design, and a vibrant character, it merges timeless aesthetics with a sculptural presence. Lightweight, stackable, and crafted entirely from aluminum with a powder-coated finish, it seamlessly adapts to private and public spaces, indoors and outdoors—from homes, offices and restaurants to terraces. Sabine Marcelis’ focus on pure form and materiality results in a versatile yet bold chair, perfectly balancing sturdiness and sophistication.
