Kaymet, established in 1947, is a London-based manufacturer renowned for its anodized aluminium trays, trolleys, and electric table hotplates. The company has been handcrafting these products in London since its inception, maintaining a commitment to quality and timeless design.
The origins of Kaymet trace back to a family-run radio shop at Elephant & Castle. By 1947, the business had evolved into Kaymet and relocated to Kennington Lane. In 1957, the company built a factory at Sylvan Grove, SE15, which featured modern facilities for production and storage.
In April 2018, Kaymet was granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, recognizing their longstanding service to the British royal family.
Today, Kaymet operates from their factory at 52 Ossory Road, London, SE1 5AN, where a dedicated team continues to produce their classic designs, ensuring that each piece embodies the company's rich heritage and commitment to excellence.
