The pattern consists of diagonal, parallel ribs or "wales," where the weft thread passes over one warp thread and under two or more. The Saia rug is available in 32 wool colors, including three natural, undyed shades made from a blend of white and black sheep fleeces. The rug can be customized with embroidery and fringes, and two or more panels can be stitched together for larger sizes.
