Jean-Michel Wilmotte, born in 1948, is a French architect, urban planner, and designer who founded his firm in Paris in 1975. He is known for the elegance and wide-ranging output of his projects, which span the public, private, hotel, and residential sectors. His firm employs 270 people of 31 nationalities and operates in 23 countries.
As a natural extension of his architectural work, he founded the **Wilmotte & Industries** design studio. Over the last 45 years, he has built a solid reputation in industrial and object design, partnering with manufacturers worldwide. Wilmotte is committed to promoting French manufacturers and his own work is characterized by sleek, sober lines that create a timeless style.
