Ouwne & Paolo's I - 250 x 350 cm

Edelgrund collaborated with Paolo Giordano, an architect from Milan, and Ouwen Mori, an interior and product designer from Hunan, China, known for their minimalist design sensibility, for an installation at Milan Design Week 2021. Together, they reimagined some of Edelgrund’s original designs, integrating them without horizontal interruptions. The result is a collection of poetic vertical panels that perfectly complement Edelgrund’s aesthetic vision.

This rug, meticulously crafted by our skilled artisans, pays tribute to the esteemed heritage of the Mazandaran region in Iran. The tradition of this particular weave style traces its roots back to the late 19th century, serving as a testament to the enduring legacy of craftsmanship in the area.
