Model 2065 is the result of Gino Sarfatti’s desire to experiment with materials.
The 2021 version of Model 2065 adds to these features in terms of sustainability: the diffusers are made of Green Cast®, a 100% recycled and recyclable PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) — patented and made in Italy — that has exactly the same aesthetic and functional quality of original methacrylate.

Gino Sarfatti
Gino Sarfatti was a pivotal figure in Italian lighting design. Born in 1912, he founded Arteluce in 1939, where he created over 700 luminaires, blending engineering and design to make products that were both functional and beautiful. He sold the company to Flos in 1973 and passed away in 1985
