DESIGNER
Erich Brendel
Inspired by the cube, Erich Brendel was a carpenter and student at the Bauhaus in Weimar. He worked at Walter Gropius' architectural practice and contributed to the "Haus am Horn," the sole architectural testimony of the Bauhaus. This house was designed in 1923 for the great Bauhaus exhibition as an experiment in modern living.
