Although he says he chose design by chance, he was heavily influenced by Mediterranean artists. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of São Paulo, he established his own design firm in 1981, focusing on graphic design. He created logos for major Brazilian companies and designed covers for magazines like *Around* and *Trip*. In the late 1980s, Farah moved into object and furniture design, known for simple, clean, and ethereal lines. His work has been featured in exhibitions in Tel Aviv, Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt, and he won the Ekoplagat prize. He also represented Brazil at "Graphistes autour du monde" in Paris in 2001.
