Wolfgang Hartauer is a qualified carpenter and architect who founded his design firm, Interior Things, in 2014. Based in Holzminden, he focuses on creating clear, precise designs, as seen in his "Meterware" desk and wall tray system. This system, made of powder-coated aluminum and stylish wood or felt trays, is meant to be tactile and interactive. Hartauer's love for precision is so strong that he says his ideal next-life career would be a watchmaker.

Tecta is a German furniture company founded in 1956 by the Lauenstein family, based in the town of Lauenförde. The brand is particularly famous for its connection to the Bauhaus movement and for producing re-editions of iconic Bauhaus furniture designs.
