Ghiaccio, the Italian word for ice, is the effect produced by ‘granzioli’, small glass fragments that resemble crushed ice applied on the vase while still incandescent. The result is a thick uneven layer of glass granules that envelops the surface. To highlight the contrast, a portion of the vase is left uncovered and smooth.
Ghiaccio is handcrafted and signed.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Micheluzzi Glass is a handmade glass collection designed by sisters Elena and Margherita Micheluzzi. Daughters of Venetian glass artist Massimo Micheluzzi, they grew up immersed in the art of glassmaking. In 2019, they launched their own collection, introducing a new line of vases and glassware. Their creations are characterized by vibrant faceted surfaces and shimmering effects, drawing inspiration from the lights and colors of Venice. Each piece is expertly blown, shaped, and finished by skilled glass masters in Murano, the world capital of glass nestled in the Venetian lagoon. The sisters bring a contemporary approach and unique style to the art of glassmaking, with cold carving being their signature technique since the inception of their collection.
