Oscar Tusquets decided to use some of the distinctive elements of the Gaulino chair in this elegant table, available in various sizes and finishes.
Inspired by Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Tusquets created 'Gaulino' in 1987. It was an industrially hand-crafted chair with a contoured wooden frame, slender tapering legs and smooth rich leather. The artisanal chair became a modern icon of 20th-century design. The table was designed in 2011 as a complement of the chair. The structure sits comfortably in space. With a visual lightness supported by the elegant top, the table is both eye-catching and beautifully functional.

Oscar Tusquets
Oscar Tusquets, born in Barcelona in 1941, describes himself as an architect, designer, painter, and writer. After graduating as an architect, he co-founded both the Studi Per architecture firm and BD, a design company, in 1972. Tusquets' furniture and other objects have earned him a Spanish National Design Award and are featured in the collections of MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. He has also been honored with the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts and the Cross of Sant Jordi, among other distinctions. Since the 1990s, he has published several books on design-related topics.
