Katrin Greiling
Born in Germany in 1978, Katrin Greiling studied cabinet making in Sweden before earning a master’s degree in furniture design and interior architecture from Konstfack University in Stockholm. She then spent three years in Dubai, where she designed global offices and created the Bidoun Sofa Series, inspired by traditional Bedouins. In 2013, she moved her studio to Berlin. Her work is an interdisciplinary mix of furniture design, interior architecture, and photography.

Tecta is a German furniture company founded in 1956 by the Lauenstein family, based in the town of Lauenförde. The brand is particularly famous for its connection to the Bauhaus movement and for producing re-editions of iconic Bauhaus furniture designs. Tecta’s philosophy centers around combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative design, creating a modern interpretation of Bauhaus aesthetics. Over the years, Tecta has collaborated with legendary designers such as Marcel Breuer, Walter Gropius, and Mies van der Rohe to faithfully recreate their designs while integrating contemporary ideas.
