Hans Könecke
At his studio in Caracas, Venezuela, architect Hans Könecke designed a variety of furnishings for DK MUEBLES, including the office and conference chair D48/D49. The design first went into mass production in the late 1950s, after Könecke established TECTA in Lauenförde.

Tecta is a German furniture company founded in 1956 by the Lauenstein family, based in the town of Lauenförde. The brand is particularly famous for its connection to the Bauhaus movement and for producing re-editions of iconic Bauhaus furniture designs.
