The 1 Inch, Alfi, and Navy Officer collections showcase Emeco and Jasper Morrison's shared appreciation for the invisible qualities of simplicity. The partnership began after Emeco's Gregg Buchbinder saw Morrison's "Super Normal" exhibition in Tokyo, recognizing a fit between the designer's philosophy and Emeco's values. ABOUT THE BRAND
Emeco, or The Electric Machine and Equipment Company, is an American furniture brand established in 1944. Originally, it supplied furniture to the U.S. Navy, creating the legendary 1006 "Navy Chair" from recycled aluminum. This chair became an enduring classic. The brand's philosophy centers on sustainability and minimalism, using recycled and reclaimed materials like aluminum and PET plastic.
